Here are a few miscellaneous things I like to keep around. It used to be that I had to look for some book that contained this information. This way, it's still available to me.

• The GIF file formats, GIF87a and GIF89a - I have these because I once had to write code to create GIF files. I try to avoid using this file format now because of the looming threat of patent enforcement by Compuserve and Unisys. Where I used to use GIF, I now use PNG instead.
• Miscellaneous - these are email messages I have written to various people where I have taken the time to try and explain something in some detail. These are barely editted.
