Ozark National Scenic Riverways

The Ozark National Scenic Riverways is an area run by the National Park Service. It is located about 3½ hours southwest of St. Louis. It includes much of the Current and Jacks Fork Rivers, Alley Spring, Alley Mill, Big Spring, Blue Spring, and Round Spring Cave.

Areas closed to hunting are:

• Alley Spring Area
• Big Spring Area
• Round Spring Area
• Powder Mill / Owls Bend Area
• Big Spring Wildlife Refuge Area
• All other developed park areas

I'm not sure if their web site is out of date, but it states, "Missouri's concealed firearms law does not apply in the park. Concealed weapons are illegal within the Ozark Riverways."

I guess I should plan a trip down there to check out the area, get my hands on any maps that may exist, and confirm what I know about the rules.
