Blue Springs Creek Conservation Area

I am seriously considering Blue Springs Creek Conservation Area as a place to hunt this year, both for deer and for rabbit. It is about an hour away (down I-44), about 850 acres of woodland and grassland. I found a spot I would love to sit and watch deer from -- I need to investigate portable tree stands.

I originally identified this spot because it was said to have good rabbit population. MDC has downgraded it to "fair" rabbit population, and we only only got one rabbit both times we've been there.
