Beretta Tomcat

My Beretta Tomcat is the weapon I plan to carry when I don't have bulky clothing to conceal my Glock 26. This fires 32 ACP, and has a 7+1 capacity.
Handloading: .32 ACP
The trigger is my biggest complaint with this gun, but it isn't so bad once you start using it. The gun is surprisingly accurate for a two inch barrel, but the sights hit a little high. I wish it didn't have a safety, but I can live with it. I should practice with it, using the safety and getting into the habit of turning it off. The grip works well and doesn't leave my hand stinging. The magazine release is in a strange place, but I don't have any problem with the magazine coming out when it shouldn't.

Ammunition
I think I prefer the Hornady 60 gr JHP/XTP. No feeding problems (in sixteen rounds), no muzzle flash, light recoil, and reasonable accuracy. I need to buy eight more boxes of this stuff and give it the 200 round test.

| Corbon JHP | OK | Huge | 6 |
| Remington 71 gr FMJ | OK | 16 | |
| Handload 71 gr FMJ w/Titegroup | OK | Medium | 16 |
| Fiocchi 60 gr SJHP | OK | ||
| Winchester 71 gr FNFMJ | OK | ||
| Speer 60 gr GDHP | Jam! | Medium | 8 |
| Winchester 60 gr Silvertip | Jam! | Small | 16 |
Federal HydraShok seemed to work, but it had a bit of muzzle flash. The Magtech 71 gr JHP worked well, and was accurate, with a little bit of flash, but Beretta doesn't recommend 71 grain bullets, though I will still consider them if the Hornady rounds don't work out. The Corbon ammunition had quite a lot of recoil, but also a massive flash, so no good for night use.
The Speer GoldDot and the Winchester Silvertip both misfed on the last round, the bullet getting hung up on the top of the chamber.
None of the FMJ rounds gave me any feeding problems, including my hand loads.
